Violin - PRODÁNO
The violin is a bowed string instrument with four strings tuned to perfect fifths: G3, D4, A4, E5. The violin is the smallest instrument in the violin family, which also includes the viola, cello and their relative the double bass. Concert violins are 4/4, but smaller sizes for children are available at 1/8, 1/2 and 3/4. The most well-known models are based on violins made by Stradivari and Guarneri. The violin has deep roots and a long tradition in European classical music. Violins are most often made using maple (neck, back plate and ribs), spruce (top plate) and ebony (fingerboard, tuning pegs, tailpiece, end button and chin rest).
